Great, of course I already own all the current Pennyroyal books. I paid regular price on most of them.

And let me thank you guys, or curse, depending on how one looks at it, for recommending the Kathleen Turner series. I am only 10% in on the first book and I am hooked and the book I had been reading is going to have to wait now. . Glad I got the first 3 on sale yesterday.

When you buy 10 books you get a code, which you then type in when purchasing next one, so there is no price limit. I always leave it for expensive ones . The site informs you during or after each purchase how many you already have. The only thing I don't know is wheter they give a point for each purchase or each book. (Are has a cart) I usually err on side of caution and buy books separately.

Thanks! That just made ARe a contender! I noticed the book count in my cart. Now I just have to wait for the JALs to drop there.

Audible is having their First in Series sale again.
There is alot of romance titles for $4.95. So if you are a member you can pick up some really nice Audible books today. I grabbed two using the $10 credit I got earlier this month.

They just don't count freebies or books from what used to be agency publishers who have chosen not to allow participation in the loyalty program. So you can buy as many books as you want at a time and it will correctly track the number. If you buy 20 books at once it gives you two codes.

The codes just aren't good for bundles. Otherwise any book from a participating publisher under $25 is eligible.

Recently HarperCollins/Avon books became eligible. But Penguin (Jove, Berkley, Putnam, etc) books are not. I was really hoping the end of agency pricing would make them eligible, but apparently not. Hope they change their mind and allow coupons and loyalty programs in the future.

One other thing about ARe, if you don't see a book listed check the OmniLit tab as well. They go by the metadata the publishers send, so not all romance books end up in the ARe storefront. If you add to your wishlist on the OmniLit tab the book will show up on your wishlist at ARe. I usually send them a quick email so they can add the book on the ARe tab as well.

That's silly that you have to log in separately on the OmniLit tab. I put a few books on a wish list there then did see them on the All Romance tab. I was able to add them to my ARe cart from the wish list.

One more ARe question. How long does it typically take them to catch up with publisher price drops? BoB used to take a few days after Kindle and Nook dropped. Is it the same for Are?

Usually. Sometimes it's quick though. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

I really enjoyed Dark Descendant and Deadly Descendant. The romance element is non-existant in the first and minor in the second, but they're excellent UF books. If you're looking for something different from the normal vampire/werewolf fare, you should definitely check it out.
