In sum countries the speeling is mo' loose.

I never assumed it did, although it's kinda fun to play with the idea and so we do. Still, terd will soon appear in the dictionary. Or at least happy_terd will. The question is, what will the definition be, eh?

I know this is gunna sound really stoopid, but I can't make the search thingy work for me. If I do a search, it comes up with threads OK so far huh? But the thread could be 100s of pages long and I don't know how to narrow it down so the post/s with keyword I am searching for are easy to find. Do I have to scroll through the whole thread :groan:? or is there a better way?

Instead of using the Search box in the top right, use the Search pull-down menu in the top menu bar. Then you will see options to display results as "Threads" or "Posts". There's also the option for "Advanced Search", which lets you do further narrowing of your search (by user, sub-forum, et cetera).
