Amazon has posted a new (there may be some repeats) slate of Kindle exclusives ebooks. Most of them have Whispersync companions. Many of the ebooks are extremely cheap, and most, many at least, have very cheap Whispersync audio narrations. And that, my dear fellow Mobilereaders, means that you can usually get an audiobook for a much cheaper price than if you were to buy it at Audible!

The following are the results of that I did of the Kindle exclusives. They are listed with the ebooks priced from high to low, having Whispersync companions, and with ratings of 4.0 or higher. Of course, you can customize your search however you want to.

Oh, using the search criteria that I did, the least expensive WS deal is $2.98. Only $2.98!

Thanks! In checking my wish list, I noticed that the Whispersync prices of some Kindle First and/or KU titles have dropped from $7.49 to $1.99; don't know if this is part of the current sale or a return to the old pricing.

A year ago, I would hidden my head in shame if I posted a Whispersync deal this high-priced. But that was before Amazon significantly jacked up the prices of most WS audio narrations of books that they don't publish. Today this WS deal is a rarity--it's only $5.98 ($1.99-ebook (on sale) + $3.99-audio narration).

Before I go any further, I want to let you know that the ebook, at least, is published by Thomas Nelson, a publisher for Christians. I have no doubt that there will be numerous religious references and allusions in the ebook/audiobook.

Presidents day offer I don't think I noticed this previously listed but audible have an offer it's essentially gold membership reduced to $8.95 for 3 months.
"Pay $8.95/month for the first 3 months and $14.95/month thereafter"

I have just passed my last month of the $4.95 for 3 months deal so I cancelled, logged out. Changed browsers(don't know if this was necessary) logged in added a gold membership to my cart and then applied the promo code ATYH74IIT427 which reduced it down to $8.95 not as good as the $4.95 deal but better than full price

I believe this offer is going to end real soon but could't find details of when but it worked for me a few minutes ago
