They've usually gone back and forth. I got "The Sword" by Brian Liftin from them a while back and you don't get more fictional than that. This is the second time I can remember them doing a real classic, though. That seems to appeal to a wider audience.

Thanks! I remember reading Anna and the King of Siam back in high school. Before Rodgers and Hammerstein turned it into a musical, the story was adapted to film with Irene Dunne and Rex Harrison.

It worked for me with no problems, but I admit I picked it up maybe a week ago, then promptly forgot about it.

I like fiction as well, and most of the freebies we get from other sources already cater to that. I looked forward to christianaudio's monthly offerings particularly for their non-fiction titles.

I was happy about the Peretti book (enjoyed it when I read it ages ago) until I realized it was the abridged version. Didn't pick up the Bunn book because it's the first in a series; not keen on much of anything in series right now. This month's offering looks good, though, so I'll get that.

For those interested in LA Theatre Works, there are several sources selling the same content in various formats and various prices. Whether you get the play in the form of a mobile app or an MP3 file or a CD, you still get the full play. By far, the best deal is a mobile app from Google Play for $0.99.

Naxos audiobooks has a couple of audiobook apps in the Amazon app store, but it is only a subset of their offerings on Play. There are also some Recorded Books titles there, but I wouldn't recommend them (they only stream the audiobook, rather than allowing offline listening).

I just finished listening to a LATW performance, The Constant Wife, and it was delightful, FWIW. Thanks for the heads up as I'd be interested in listening to more. Don't overlook Overdrive as a first stop for some titles, as that was my source.

I looked at the LATW web site via your LA Theatre Works link. Plays that had different media available would link you to the correct source. Or at least, when I picked "iphone" it sent me to an iphone web page and also opened iTunes and pointed at that particular play.
