in my ongoing quest to recover from the non healing femur fracture my Doc prescribed a muscle stimulator. I already had a nerve stimulator, but this is different, makes the muscles contract. I had to go get it today and be trained on it. I'm giving it the hairy eyeball now... so not looking forward to this. I thought I might be coming down with strep so stopped at Urgent Care... fortunately "just" an ear infection. so I am now laying on my side with eardrops in, my laptop precariously balanced on my leg, Strider on my hip, Arwen next to him on my upper thigh. he is furiously grooming her so she has the tail whackas and I am getting hit in the nose with Arwen tail about every 3 seconds

I'm glad I'm not a horse, the probably would have shot me by now ;o(

I've had friends who have used the muscle stimulator for back injuries - they report it really helped them.

Good luck with the cat grooming Olympics! Maybe it's time to throw a treat on the floor so you can get some rest!

My cats love to perch along my hip and thigh when I'm on my side, too. Weird, I think, because it just doesn't look that comfortable to me.

I wish Mr M would hurry up and come home. I want a kitty cuddle. He will require drying off (he loves it - I think that is why he goes out in the rain) before he is allowed in the house.

He doesn't go very far. 99% of the time I find him if I go out there. But it is raining. Maybe I should go to next next door again and see if he is on her chair.
It is only 2.30pm here and he is usually in by bed time(we go out for a walk and get him). except for the other night when he was too crook to move.

Had a very good start to the day - woke up, browsed my Amazon wishlist and found that an ebook I wanted had been reduced from £5 to £1.98 so made an early morning purchase

It's the Hamlyn All Colour Slow Cooker book - so 200 new recipes to inspire me now. This is when I wish I had a colour Kindle as the photos are gorgeous but looks good on the PC.
