Thanks all. We spent 20 minutes having cantelope and watching football. He showed a bit more energy. Moved onto watermelon. After a cup of watermelon cubes he was happy to move into his play area and has been playing while I did some chores and relaxed a bit.

LG: how is your little one doing?

Ardbeg .... headache here too .... seems to be an epidemic of headaches in the Lounge this weekend ... maybe we should all go on vacation?

I am just SOOO happy to be out of that cement jungle in Osaka, and back into a real one! Flowers everywhere, trees, climbing vines, orchids growing wild.... Thank God I'm a country boy again!

Good morning, everyone! Looks as if it's going to be a fine day! I can see a storm over on the east side of the valley, but the winds are blowing it to the north and the sun is shining on our patch of turf here on the west. I'm drinking a big mug a unbranded Keemun tea today, and wondering what delights I'll find on the Food Lady's cart that will keep me under 200 calories. A couple of veggie omelets would do it, I guess, but my tongue is requesting stronger flavors today... Something spicy... Hmmm......

Yep, I have had one since I woke up today. Just a nagging won't stop pounding in my temples.

Another dark, gray, windy, rainy day here as we move into the time of year that got this bit of paradise known as the "Wet Coast". A good time for Murchie's Russian Caravan tea, with it's big chunk of Lapsang Souchong and a good, bright backside to go with it.

Good morning, everyone! Felicity woke us up extra early this morning, meowing out the window. Gave us an extra half hour to just laze around before getting up to start the day. I like early mornings. They are just so... so... new! I made myself a big mug of Taylors of Harrogate's "English Breakfast" tea but it will be another hour before we go down to see the wonders that the Food Lady has to offer today. Time enough for some meditation, exercise, and e-mail.

Well, the skies finally cleared just about sunset, and the forecast is for some sun tomorrow, if the fog clears. (This time of year, marine fog is a problem here on the Coast.) That's good, I need to do some work on the chicken coop to get it ready for the next batch of hens due anytime in the next several weeks.

A glass of Talisker to finish off this evening.
