Good morning, all! Or should I say Bon Matin! It's a good day to be a French-Canadian Voyageur! (Ah! dis Canada, one fine place, eh Goosberry? {said in my best Paul Muni voice}) We're going canoeing up the Ping River today with some friends. I wish I had my coonskin cap! Oh well... probably too hot for that anyway. Instead, I have some "Thai Hilltribe Oolong" tea that I was given yesterday to taste. That will have to do. And a half dozen fresh croissants for energy. But just in case, I'm filling my thermos with new English Breakfast tea... Better safe than sorry. . (I wonder how often the Voyageurs ate fresh croissants?)

Despite a sweet tooth, I find Diet Coke too sweet for me.

Early morning coffee while planning out the logistics of my day. I have a lot of places I have to be today, and of course those places are far apart, lol! When I woke up at 5 I decided to go ahead and get up so I could have some quiet coffee (and banana bread) time to myself. A batch of scones is in the oven (birthday present for a party later today) so that means at least I don't have to fit a shopping trip into the day!

What a lovely weekend!

Good morning, everyone. Happy Monday! It's the start of a new week, and all the wonders that this can bring! I have a big mug of my new "English Breakfast" tea beside me, a plate of Kaew Pad Keng Gai (chicken with green stuff and basil) and I'm ready to start the week! I'm thinking about making Castile Soap... I really want Dr.Bronner's Pepperment Soap but they don't sell it in Thailand. I guess I'll have to make some myself. How hard can it be?
