First wave of thunderstorms rolled through here this morning. More are due through the afternoon, evening, and overnight. When it's not actually raining it's so humid the drops are just hanging there, suspended in the air, waiting for you to walk into them.

Gardners Green Puerh. Good stuff.

Back at work. We spent a week at the river and it was very nice. Playing in the wate, hiking, visiting with family, watching BB learn new things and see new things. There was no internet until Friday but that was actually really nice.

I have survived!! The common cold didn't kill me!! Yippee!

Good morning, everyone! I LIVE! I didn't think I'd make it, but once again I survived the Common Cold. Horrible experience, and I don't know how I could manage to catch it in such gentle weather, but three boxes of tissues latter, I woke up with a clear head! So I'm celebrating this morning with a mug of Ceylon Uva, a plate of croissants and fresh fruit. And I can actually taste them all! Yippee Skippee!!!

Best wishes for tomorrow. I just heard a couple of days ago on BBC Radio (so it must be true) that middle age now starts at 53, so old age must have been given a bump too. Maybe 75?
