I borrowed the Hobbit and it delivered a Whispersync pair - the ebook and the matching audiobook. So instead of borrowing each one separately, you get both when you borrow the KU title.

Getting access to all these audiobooks would make this a great deal, at least for a few months!

Currently, there are only 2,145 titles in the "with narration" section. Not very many as of yet. Hopefully, they'll expand it.

One could make a list of available "with narration" titles they're interested in, signup for KU, borrow the ebook, then buy the audiobook for the reduced price. When finished buying, cancel the KU subscription.

It shows up in the Audible app on my Nexus 7. It downloads and plays just like the titles you own.

The "with narration" titles are the ones with a free upgrade. This seems to be a subset of the usual Whispersync upgrades.

I've already found 5-6 interesting titles in the mystery section that have the free narration, so I'm looking forward to signing up. I just need to wait a few days till I have a little more time to read and take maximum advantage of the offer.

I'm betting you lose the free "with narration" titles if you discontinue your Kindle Unlimited subscription and that titles paid for are yours for keeps. Won't know until someone tries it. I'll get more of the free titles before I cancel next month and see if I get to keep them (I doubt it though).

Audible will not allow me to download to my computer the two KU w/ narration titles I have. The download button is missing for these titles in my Audible Library page. They can only be downloaded to a compatible mobile device.

Hmm. So it sounds like I wouldn't be able to get it on a Clip Zip since that's not a wi-fi device.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet, Audible is having a kids audiobook sale with prices ranging from $0.99 to $3.99. Good way to spend that $10 Budget credit and some of the titles are probably also interesting to adults - War Horse, Neverending Story, How to Train Your Dragon, etc. Expires July 24th.

The book Just One Damned Thing After Another was a freebie a while ago listed in the SFF thread, but now shows up as 99 cents on Amazon.com for me (I'm in Canada) with a WfV deal of $1.99 for the narration.

Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie (Amazon link) is also on sale for $1.99 I believe, and WfV narration is $3.99.

I saw the Neverending Story and put it in my cart to think about, but missed Dragon in the Kids Sale list.

I just bought "How to Train Your Dragon" on the June sale, which was far less of a sale than this one.

And previously I had used a full credit on the latest Gabaldon and then it went on WFV discount shortly thereafter (yes, yes I know! But I was in a rush to listen).

Buying audible books is getting to be like buying stocks, as soon as I do, the price drops
