Finishing off my second mug of Seven Sons PuErh. I really do love the stuff. I miss astra, he who turned me on to PuErh. (raises her nearly finished mug in his honor.)

Stupid hip, it is not painful painful today but a dull throb. Being that I am who I am, I am still walking and planning on hitting the gym. If this continues on I'll make an appointment with the doctor. I am taking advil, her initial recommendation for what to do when the ring finger with arthritis bothers me.

I am only 41. I take good care of myself. I am annoyed.

And I realize that it is minor in the grand scheme of things. People have many problems much larger then a dull throb in their hip. I get that. I do.

But I am still annoyed.

Good luck with your hip, ProfCrash. I finished physical therapy for my knee last week -- today is my first day of do-it-myself home PT.

After my tea, of course.

Finding out that a supermarket special offer doesn't apply to your preferred variety of soft drink is a silly reason to be annoyed.

That your hip join hurts is a reasonable reason. I hope it improves.

Nothing in my cup as I'm off to bed. (I will mention that yesterday I baked some wonderful honey and walnut wholemeal bread. Dark and tasty. I've just finished off the last crust. Yum.)

Good morning, everyone! Friday the 13th comes on a Tuesday this month. Hmmmm.... Better take care. There is a big mug of East India "Royal Breakfast" tea beside me, as I ponder my choices for breakfast. So many big decisions to make....

But happiness is! I figured out a way to get ALL my usual teas (except the unbranded Keemun) from Japan without spending too much money. The Import Shop that I used to buy from will ship via mail order, but only within Japan. But my sister-in-law will forward packages to us so a MAJOR relief on that score. Only one shop here carries just one (Ahmad 'English Breakfast' tea) of my fav's. I did find the tea room here that has a fantastic English Breakfast tea, but apple pie for every meal just doesn't make it. I need variety. Now I'm assured of it! Yippee!

OK... time for the Food Lady!

Good morning, everyone! It's a beautiful day! I wonder how many hours this will last? I'm driving a friend up near the Burmese border to look at some property. He wants to get out of town and buy something more remote. Unfortunately, he can't see very well, so needs a driver to get him anywhere. It will be nice to get deeper into the jungle, even if it's only for a day trip.

But first... TEA! I have a mug full of my new English Breakfast tea. Still loving this stuff. Then downstairs to visit the Food Lady. Then it's 'go north, young man. Go north!'
