One of my favorite novels! Irving is great! What fascinates me about his writing style is that he says he writes his novels backwards. He has to have the ending scene and then he writes the chapters back to the beginning from there....

Yeah, I'm really enjoying it. I had seen the movie version when it came out many years ago and pretty much forgot it. I'd also seen Cider House Rules but I'd never read one of his books before. I really should have before this!
