isn't that "the shortest sf story ever written" or something ? i remember reading a whole article about the writer, but i forget who it was. i think he was a newspaper man who had to write one-sentence summaries of incidents.

ADDED 1/9/09: Apparently, there may actually be a shorter Sci-Fi story. I found this quote:

"Forrest J Ackerman, the man who coined the term "sci-fi" in 1954, published the world's shortest science fiction story, "Cosmic Report Card: Earth," in Vertex Magazine (1973)."

I don't recall ever having read this story. Plus, it is still in copyright.

I found out some more information about the Fredric Brown short story. It's called "Knock," and it may be about 1 page in length, perhaps consisting of an introductory part, with the story proper being the famous 2 lines. I read this when I was a small brat, and can't remember that much.

I just assembled it as an ebook, but, I need to be certain if the version I've completed is the full and correct version before uploading.
