I'd like to see a video showing how the boox max performs on the a2 (fast refresh mode) which would be suitable for web browsing and text editing, given a bluetooth keyboard. I've found a video for the i86 on youtube and if boox max is at least the same, that would be great!

I discovered this store in europe today. I was glad to see two stores selling onyx products in Europe but the page is not in english and also I do not know if they send to the whole Europe.

"Yes, we will sell the Onyx Boox MAX 13.3" e-reader in our store soon. We expert them in about 6-10 weeks.
I will send you an e-mail when we have more specific delivery date."


According to the website, all prices shown on the site are in Euros including VAT and excluding shipping costs, and the shipping cost(outside of Europe) is €29.50.

I am glad to see someone interested here. I tell this because you can see my answer in the last post in N96ML model. They also know the price and they will have specials
prices for preorder and special (discount I suppose) actions as they told me.

That would be my next question. For the i86 I have successful used a generic 8 inch tablet cover from eBay.

Maybe there is something similar for 13.3 'tablets'.

Are you speaking from person experience here? Are all the ports, buttons, etc, in the same place? Are the actual devices the same physical size, rather than just the screens being the same size?

Anyway, some sort of protective case would be highly recommended.

Well,no offence.I saw one of my friends using Sony 13 inch cover for his ultra-book Chinese tablet.I don't know why he did that,but he used his mind plus creativity to figure out how to manage small necessary cutting off dots for plug in ports,etc.That was his choice,but very interesting. That.That was like DIY which was not hard to do based on his explanations.Some people may prefer to wait and sit too long to see everything is provided! Your choice!

The release of a 13.3 inch e-ink device was foreseeable so I had enough time to save the money.
