Grilling Cookbook, from Emeril (Yeah, that One)--$3.99.
Being the discriminating person (some would say persnickety cuss) that I am, I consider this a borderline bargain. Its ratings are marginal, there aren't all that many pages, and it's too expensive. But, I'm posting it because you might see things differently from me.
I've got to say, though--the photographs are beautiful! Emeril at the Grill (Emeril's). By Emeril Lagasse. Rated 4 stars, from 26 reviews at the present moment. For example, there is Emeril's Delmonico, which has quasi recipes from his New Orleans restaurant by the same name. Then, there's a book named something like 20-40-60, which is a book of recipes sorted by preparation time. Are none of the recipes in those books in his other books? I would feel better about having to pass up buying some of his books if I knew that some of the recipes in them were in books that I already owned. |

Great Markdown (to $2.99) on this Big Workman Publishing Cookbook.
This cookbook is intended for people who, as the title indicates, cook from their own garden. It is also intended for people who grow organically. But I don't see why people couldn't use this cookbook even if they don't have their own gardens or, if they have their own gardens, are not insistent on growing their stuff organically. Don't you?

I just wish that Houghton Mifflin Harcourt would split the book into two books--one about raising chickens/cultivating eggs and the other one the egg guide/cookbook. Oh, and lower the price of the books by half, too. ha
