I think this is it. After reading a little more, I realized that sold by Amazon Digital Services doesn't necessarily mean published by Amazon. On checking my wishlist, I saw that several of my books published by "real" publishing houses, e.g. Norton and university presses, were sold by Amazon and thus (fingers crossed) should be promo credit-applicable. Only the agency books showed as sold by Hachette, Penguin, etc.

So I'll be using no-rush shipping again.

Is it just my account - starting from the recent Prime day, the only credits they offer for no rush shipping now is a $5 credit to Prime pantry? I have ordered perhaps 10 items since then, and this is the only credit offered, so I end up using the usual 2-day shipping instead.

I just checked and I am getting the same offer. They seem to try out different credits - this was offered a few months or so ago and it didn't last long.

It seems like the ebook credits have changed in how they can be used. I had $0.97 left from older credits and just bought a Harper Collins book. $0.97 was subtracted from the total as "Promotions", leaving $1.02 that went to my gift card. I still have $13.00 in digital credits that I'll have to look for books sold by Amazon.

I'm so disappointed that I can't find anything to use the credits on. I was hoping to apply my balance to an e-book with a good Whispersync deal on the Audible audiobook, but every one I'm interested in is sold by other than Amazon Digital. I think I'll opt for the fast shipping from now.

Thanks Purple Lady, for the link. I ordered stylus pens and they were Prime eligible, I thought I would also get $1 off, for slow shipping. I did get credit last time I ordered those pens with slow shiping. But not this time. I use my credits for ebook purchases too. I wish they would just let us pick what we want to use the credits for. Now it seems to change a lot.

My two purchases this week have been Christmas presents, both DVDs on sale.

Since I'm in no hurry, I ordered the slow shipping with the Prime Pantry credit; but since I didn't use that credit last time, I doubt that I will use them in the future.
