I'm trying to install this plugin so i can use Marvin again and whilst the plug in says its installed when i go to customise it I get the error message

No module named PyQt4

Can anyone help?. I'm running Calbre version 2.7 and i'm on Windows 7.

Did you clean out any old config files? It sounds like you switched the plugin from calibre 1.x to 2.x -- you probably had it installed in the past.

Delete the folder

I did have it installed before, months ago, I unistalled the plugin. How do I clean out anything left behind from before?

Thank you. That did the trick for customising Marvin. I now have the problem that when I try to Get Books the error message

Unable to connect to idevice

comes up. Is this because I am on IOS 8?

But at least now you only have to wait for the updated libraries.

Progress update on libimobiledevice + Windows + IOS8. Out of the three libraries I think one is now OK, and a I am narrowing down problems in the second one. There may be a bug in the Lunix code I am using which is causing Calibre not to initialise. I have identified the function where this is happening, and I have a fix for it. Still some way to go...

I am trying to use Marvin (v 2.8) on an iPad Mini 2 running i0S 8, from a Mac (Mavericks), Calibre v 1.48.

If I try to install this plug in without the iPad connected, it seems to have been installed and I can configure it for Marvin. But when I connect the device, start Marvin, and try to get books via Calibre connector, I get the message that the plug-in needs to be installed.

If I try to install with the iPad connected, I get an error message (see below).

How can I make Marvin and Calibre work together, either via USB or wirelessly? Thanks!
