I only bought 3 books this week. I am trying to scale back on buying and actually reading some of the stuff I do buy. I bought more books this year than any other year I owned a kindle. Since 2008. At least that's the plan.

I bought
Kristen Ashley - Wildest Dreams ($1.07)
Kirsten Ashley - The Golden Dynasty ($1.07)
Nan Ryan - Kathleen's Surrender ($1.07)

There are also a couple of kindles on sale today only on Amazon.
I bought the basic for $55.20
There are a couple of fires on sale too.
the 16 GB Fire HD 7inch is $135.20 ($169)
the 16 GB Fire HDX 7 inch is $183.20 ($229)

Click the arrow button on the Send to Device button choose Send specific format then choose epub from the list.

With your KFHDX it's works best with Calibre Companion which is super easy to use. You choose epub as the only format to send over to CC in CC settings. You can also specify the folder to use.

Click the Preferences button then select Look and Feel under Interface. Second tab should be Cover Grid. There you can change colors or choose a background image and make a few other adjustments.

So I gave hubby an ultimatum. He better bring home a tree tonight or else!

I even played the scrooge card.

It looks like we might be going artificial this year. I am okay with it less needles and watering but the cats feel disappointed. I picked out the tree online now he just has to go buy it.

I just got out all the Christmas stuff. So now to clear out his nook. I made space for his school stuff in the spare bedroom/storage. He told me don't expect him to do anything. I called him scrooge. Me and the cats will have Christmas without him.

The Cats love Christmas they love the tree it's as much for me as it's for them. My cats are good they know not to mess with the stuff however if it falls on the floor all bets are off!

So now I am off to see if any goodies out there. It seems these past two months we are lucky to get anything. That 12 free books from the other day reminded me when it use to be like that every week. Now it's like going through a needle in a haystack. I'm hoping to find something I can share with y'all.

Library Addict, Copyrite and Blossom, thank you all for the help and info. One of the problems was the send to device icon was not appearing. It used to. Got that sorted. Except it still doesn't acknowledge kfhd. Also figured out the virtual libraries for sorting books. So got it together for the iPad, still can't get the calibre companion to work on the KFHD though. Working on it....
