Hi, my Kobo Glo seems bricked, getting nothing after all the re-setting options. Last resort will be to use image, where is the best place to get a N613 sd card image from?

I am trying to resurrect an old Kobo Glo, with the internal SD missing.

Could i please have the Standard internal SD image as well?

New to me, used KOBO Glo
I'm working on a Glo that has obviously had some issues that others haven't been able to fix.

The SD card is a Micro brand (not sure if that would be original) 2GB.
I have the tools to do the image copy and write on my PC.
I plugged it into the reader on my iMac and it shows capacity 1.43GB with 1.42GB available. Name is KOBOeReader, but it's format is MS-DOS (FAT32). Wonder if someone allowed a Windows computer to format it and then was unable to write the image to it.

I'm assuming Flash Drive Image Writer will be able to format and write this correctly... Yes/No?
If it doesn't work, I'll be purchasing a new SD to try again.
I do have Gergith's write up bookmarked.

Can I please have an image for my Glo.

There should be three partitions on the internal SD card. Two will be ext3/4 and the third it FAT32. The first two should be 256MB in size and the third the rest of the disk.

When the device is plugged into a PC, only the FAT32 partition is presented to the PC. The other two are completely hidden. Removing the card and putting it in a Windows PC usually gives errors as Windows doesn't like multiple partitions on removable media and two of the partitions are formats it doesn't understand. If you put the card in a Linux machine, it can see and mount all three partitions. I thought a Mac would be the same, but have never tried.

For restoring the image, I usually point to Memory Upgrade Mod Guide. That suggests "Flash Drive Image Writer" for writing the image.

Just got hold of a relative's bricked device (Kobo Glo); i would like to try to get it back to life (newbie, though). Could anyone (I guess mr davidfor) send me a link to the Standard internal SD image? And any advices are welcome (fingers crossed)...
