Wow. I read the whole thread. And I must say, I'm feeling nostalgic. Is it the right word, if you are feeling nostalgic for a time when you didn't even exist? I always manage to pop into existence too late. But the question is still open. You can solar charge your cats to generate gravity (I wonder, is all gravity due to cats? What if there were no cats? Would we all float?), but can you solar charge your lisa-juice? We may never know. |

And it's never too late to pop into existence. Did Frodo pop into existence too late? Sure, he was a late-comer to the ages long quest but his timing turned out to be impeccable. Be content with your place in the continuum. I'm sure I read that in a fortune cookie somewhere.

Your fortune cookie sounds really wise. I hope it tasted good too. Maybe with a slight touch of bacon.... Threads like this should be taught at school. So that future generations can benefit from the past. Perfect textbook example of how to *properly* derail a thread. Retroactive congratulations to all involved. (and the "gentle reader..." who put up with you)

Not only do I approve of the word liseuse, I have been on the hunt for a decent liseuse charger! I've been using an AC liseuse mains charger and I'd prefer something like solar for my liseuse, especially for travel. There have been a few suggestions, but I don't know how my liseuse - a Sony Reader - will cope with the limited current such a solar liseuse charger will produce. Those who want to cat call anyone who uses the word liseuse just don't get it, and can feel free not to respond. |

I've been eyeing up the Powertraveller PowerMonkey-Explorer as a general solar charger for most of my gadgets. They sell extra tips and one of those they do sell is for a Sony Reader.

Where am I? I have a feeling like I've been in The Airport for a long, long "span" of... time?

Unfortunately as soon as I posted, I was sucked back into The Airport and displaced to Atlanta. Whereupon a Gray Shuttle ingested me and, a few soggy miles later, disgorged me at the Dolce Aberdeen Woods Minimum Security Training Facility, where I'll be incarcerated with other offenders from companies primarily known by acronyms for the week. Pray for my soul.

M0zza I tried the powermonkey explorer - wasn't too impressed, it seems to need to be outside in full sunlight to charge up. I've got both of these http://www.powerbee.co.uk/Solar-Camp...-Pro/p-84-356/ http://www.powerbee.co.uk/Solar-Camp...rger/p-84-383/ and they work much better in UK weather through double glazing, also both come with a PSP tip which charges my PRS300 no probs (and my nokia, ds, dsi, mp3 etc) Admittedly most of my gadgets were selected for long battery life but so far i've charged everything from the solar chargers (in winter I needed to charge the DSi XL a couple of times from mains). |
