Actually, 10 meters underwater is a safe place during a typhoon! When the big tsunami hit Thailand and Indonesia, the divers who were under at the time had no idea that anything had gone over their heads. I dived the waters around Guam a four days after the worlds largest typhoon, the the ocean viz was clearer than I've ever seen! Only corals close to the surface were affected.

Geez! I'm sure glad yer not my mom! No bike? No guitar? No girls? No tea? How's a guy supposed to survive?

Sorry to worry you all so badly. I really didn't have a spare second from the time I got the call to go... Rushing to pack my kit, pack my clothes, get to the airport, etc., etc., I was able to 'look at' the forum using my iPhone, but for some reason it wouldn't let me post.

I May Be Away For A Few Days....
I'm going in for out-patient surgery tomorrow morning (nothing too serious) and may not be posting for a few days. My expected recovery time is 3 to 4 days, but I don't know what, if any, limitations I'll have. I plan on reading the threads even if I can not post to them. I hope to resemble something like normal by Sunday.
