She's wide so the sales prices should be at Kobo, Google Play, etc.

She also sells directly from her website for her self-published stuff.

Kensington has The Mark of the Tala on sale for $1.99. And The Tears of the Rose and The Talon of the Hawk are each $2.99

I was going to post the sale last night, but none of the sites had the sale price listed so I thought I'd missed it. She said on her podcast today she'd leave the self-pub sale for a while (but it sounded more in terms of days not weeks). She's waiting to see how long the Kensington sale lasts.

A few of the books were more "meh" for me, but overall this is one of my all-time favorite fantasy romance series. Ursula & Harlan are one of my top 5 favorite romance couples ever, so I am biased.

For the series order, I did a mega post about it back on page 163 HERE

ETA: She has plans for a "next generation" trilogy next year which will start with a novella in the Under a Winter Sky anthology in November. The anthology will also have a new Earthsinger Chronicles novella from L(eslye) Penelope as well as stories by Kelley Armstrong and Melissa Marr.

Does anyone buy digital books directly from Mills & Boon?

They still do downloads for epub from their site (unlike Harlequin with their stupid reading app thingy).

They don't have all of the books Harlequin publishes, but they do have some.

I have gotten epub books from them in the past, but they were all possibly freebies. I'm just wondering if they will sell digitally to the US.

Actually, the sale prices are only at Kindle US and UK, as of yesterday, when I posted, and still as of today. (I always check Kobo US, don't usually check Google, but did just now.)

New series sounds interesting!

And I wish I'd known about your series list before I took the time to make my own! Sigh!

An Unconditional Freedom is the third in Alyssa Cole's Loyal League series. I haven't read any titles in this series, but I did read and really enjoy her A Princess in Theory a while back. Anyway, Freedom has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US (coupon/VIPable).

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/Unconditional...dp/B079KST59M/
Kindle US/Smile: https://smile.amazon.com/Uncondition...dp/B079KST59M/
Kobo US: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/an-...onal-freedom-2

Spoiler:
Quote:
Award-winning author Alyssa Cole returns with her highly-acclaimed Loyal League series exploring the untold role of people of color in the fight to end slavery. This time, an assassination plot could end the Civil War, and a hidden enemy could destroy a secret league of unsung heroes . . .

Daniel Cumberland, born free in Massachusetts, studied law with dreams of helping his people—dreams that died the night he was kidnapped and sold into slavery. Daniel is rescued, but he’s a changed man. When he’s offered entry into the Loyal League, the covert organization of Black spies who helped free him, he seizes the opportunity for vengeance against the Confederacy and those who support it.

When the Union Army occupies the Florida home of Cuban Janeta Sanchez, daughter of an enslaved woman and the plantation owner who married her, her family’s wealth does not protect her father from being imprisoned. Under duress and blaming herself for the arrest, Janeta agrees to infiltrate a group called the Loyal League as a double agent—and finds a cause truly worth the sacrifice.

Daniel is aggravated by the headstrong and much too observant new detective he’s paired with, and Janeta is intrigued by the broken but honorable man she is tasked with betraying. As they embark on a mission to intercept Jefferson Davis and thwart European meddling, their dual hidden agendas are threatened by the ghosts of their pasts and a growing affection that could strengthen both the Union and their souls—or lead to their downfall.

I've finished the series, but purchased books 1 and 2 when they were on sale, so of course I had to complete the set.

Free again at Kindle US and UK if you missed it back in February. Links below are still good...

FWIW, this works. I used my US address and credit card with no issues. Able to download the epub. It also looks like they release the books a month early.

Sadly, they don't seem to do Special Editions on their site so no early Shannon Stacey for me in October.

No Harlequin My Rewards points, but they have been so slow lately. I am still waiting for my April purchases to credit. Since I can't use my points for digital books anyway it is no real loss.

The first five books in Piper J Drake's True Heroes series are on sale for various prices Sep 28 to Oct 26:
EXTREME HONOR – $0.99
Spoiler:
HONOR, LOYALTY, LOVE

David Cruz is good at two things: war and training dogs. The ex-soldier’s toughest case is Atlas, a Belgian Malinois whose handler died in combat. Nobody at Hope’s Crossing kennel can break through the animal’s grief. That is, until dog whisperer Evelyn Jones walks into the facility . . . and into Atlas’s heart. David hates to admit that the curvy blonde’s mesmerizing effect isn’t limited to canines. But when Lyn’s work with Atlas puts her in danger, David will do anything to protect her.

Lyn realizes that David’s own battle scars make him uniquely qualified for his job as a trainer. Tough as nails yet gentle when it counts, he’s gotten closer to Atlas than anyone else—and he’s willing to put his hard-wired suspicion aside to let her do the same. But someone desperate enough to kill doesn’t want Lyn working with Atlas. Now only teamwork, trust, and courage can save two troubled hearts and the dog who loves them both . . .

ULTIMATE COURAGE – $3.99
Spoiler:
LOVE IS AN ACT OF BRAVERY

Retired Navy SEAL Alex Rojas is putting his life back together, one piece at a time. Being a single dad to his young daughter and working at Hope’s Crossing Kennels to help rehab a former guard dog, he struggles every day to control his PTSD. But when Elisa Hall shows up, on the run and way too cautious, she unleashes his every protective instinct.

Elisa’s past never stays in her rearview mirror for long, and she refuses to put anyone else in danger. But with Alex guarding her so fiercely yet looking at her so tenderly, she’s never felt safer . . . or more terrified that the secrets she keeps could put countless people in grave peril. The only way for both to fully escape their demons will take the ultimate act of courage: letting go and learning to trust each other.

ABSOLUTE TRUST – $3.99
Spoiler:
LOVE IS THE GREATEST RISK OF ALL

After multiple tours of duty, Brandon Forte returns to his hometown on a personal mission: to open a facility for military working dogs like Haydn, a German Shepherd Dog who’s seen his share of combat and loss. It also brings him back to Sophie Kim, a beacon of light in his life . . . and the one woman he can’t have. But Forte’s success means he’s made enemies in high places. Enemies who are now after Sophie . . .

When Forte enlisted and left without saying goodbye, Sophie did her best to move on. But with her first love back in town, looking sexier than ever, she’s constantly reminded of what they could have had. Then after he risks himself for her, Sophie realizes she’ll have to put her life in the hands of the man who broke her heart, knowing the danger -and the sparks between them- could consume them both.

TOTAL BRAVERY – $2.99
Spoiler:
True heroes will do anything to protect the women they love…

As the newest recruit at Search and Protect, Raul has a lot to prove. Luckily, he’s got the best friend and partner a man could ask for: a highly trained, fiercely loyal German Shepherd Dog named Taz. Together, Raul and Taz make an unbeatable team. But their first mission in Hawaii really puts them to the test when an international kidnapping ring sets its sights on the bravest woman Raul’s ever met . . .

Mali knows her latest job has put one hell of a target on her back. And on this small island paradise, there’s nowhere to hide. With a service dog like Taz, Mali feels safe. Sharing close quarters with a smoldering muscle-for-hire like Raul, she feels something else – an unexpected wave of desire. Raul feels it too. But when the kidnappers make their move, he’s got to turn that slow-burning passion into hard-hitting action – and save the life of the woman he loves.

FIERCE JUSTICE – $2.99
Spoiler:
Real heroes aren’t born, they’re made

K9 handler Arin Siri doesn’t like taking orders, and she works best when it’s just her and her dog King out in the field. But when she discovers a wounded soldier of fortune during a Search and Protect mission, she has no choice but to get him to safety. The last time she and the roguish, sexy Jason Landon tangled, they were on opposite sides of the conflict, but this time, he’s claiming to need her help.

When Jason wakes up in a hospital on Hawaii’s Big Island, he’s shocked to discover Arin guarding him. She’s the last person he expected to see, but she’s also the only person who can help him bring down a kidnapping ring. As they draw closer to danger-and to each other-they must race against the clock to discover who the kidnappers are working for, or risk becoming collateral damage themselves.

So basically the entire series except one novella and the last book.

These links (hopefully) go to the series for each site since it is so many books. (Google Play goes to her author page since their search function is terrible. Also, I couldn't get Apple/iTunes books whatever they call themselves nowadays to load.)

Kobo

Google Play

Amazon

FWIW, I quite enjoyed this series.

Not sure if anyone here is interested since it's taken forever for the book to be released but Brenna Aubrey's For the Taking has been released.

For Kobo CA see For the Taking for $5.99 Cdn or free with Kobo Plus.

For Amazon CA see For the Taking for $5.99 Cdn.

Price works out to around $4.51 US for those who don't do currency conversions as a hobby.

According to my wife, this price is going to go up after the next day or so which might qualify this as a sale or is it just soothing the author's conscience for the delay in releasing it. Who does she think she is? George R. R. Martin?

Come A Little Bit Closer is the seventh in the Sullivans series by Bella Andre. It's free right now at Kindle US and UK and Kobo US. Probably free too at Kobo UK, but it's a hassle to check right now. I've read and enjoyed a few titles in this series when they've gone on sale/free from time to time.

Valentina isn't averse to sensual pleasure, or even to the idea of finding true love, but as a Hollywood business manager she's watched too many smart women fall for actors...only to be torn apart when the fairytale comes to its inevitable end.

But when intense weeks together on set turn their heated attraction into red-hot flames of passion, Smith knows he has to find a way to convince Valentina to let him get a little bit closer. Close enough to completely steal her heart...the way she's stolen his from the start.

COME A LITTLE BIT CLOSER is part of Bella Andre's #1 bestselling series about The Sullivans. While it can easily be read as a stand-alone story, you'll likely enjoy reading the other books, too.
