New Venture Players performed a Flashmob of "One Day More" in the dark foyer of NVP's local cinema Cineworld. Obviously, it was a movie tie-in gimmick, but there is just something amusing about people bursting into song in public places.

I've just had my most jaw-dropping youtube moment ever, and wanted to share it.
This is "Tiger Rag" played on the 1929 Wurlitzer organ (theatre organ) in Assembly Hall in Sussex, UK. It's the largest Wurlitzer in Europe. This is indeed impressive stuff |

Yeah, the foot-work is impressive. I'm afraid they missed the best part. It sounds as though the most impressiv part of the pedals is from 2:41 and out.
Organs fascinate me, and the Wurlitzers were a fantastic american design |

That recording with Rachel Flowers was simply impressive. She has rythm flowing through her veins.

If you pave the streets, add a gas station and a convenience store, and put 'most' of the people into modern clothing, this looks and feels like any rural seaside village here today. Add an outer layer of modern wall to the houses, and cars on the street, and it could be today.
This is the complete 9-hour mini-series, and is a fantastic, accurate cultural exploration of Japan in the 16th Century... and not much has changed since... Well worth watching in its entirety. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0NYG...m_e7Q&index=12 Stitchawl |

Loved the mini series, and just watched it again recently (loved the book, too). Amazing that the whole thing is on you-tube.
