I am very ashamed to say that I have never seen any of the Pink Panther movies. I watched the first few minutes of one when I was about 10 years old and thought it was just stupid. Of course, that's also what I thought the first time I saw a bit of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. After this long, I definitely need to give Peter Sellers a second chance.

words fail me. how is that even possible ? vr, you must go IMMEDIATELY to fill the gaping hole in your life that is the absence of peter sellers' comedy genius in the pink panther films (well... the first few are genius. the last few are more like cashing in on a good thing. but that was true of the last few thin man films too, doesn't make the first ones any less superlative). start at the beginning, watch them in order, make sure you are not eating or drinking anything during the duration of the film.

i should mention, the pink panther films (much like the python films) get better the more times you watch them, because of the little details and jokes you won't notice the first time.
