We're getting ready for the nose dive into winter. By this time next week, we can expect snow showers and nightly freezing temps. Fortunately, I'm going to be in Cancun on a CME trip, so I will miss at least a week of it.

We're meant to have been getting, and going to get, rain, rain and rain. Apart from some marginally heavy stuff last night, all we seem to be getting is sun, sun and sun. It's humid, but a relatively mild 25C, forecast and current. The spa is getting to about 35C though, for later contemplation of the rain if it comes.

We're still waiting for spring to really kick in. Currently cloudy, chilly and not very spring-like. The magpies have stopped swooping, so maybe even they think we're heading back to winter.

It's 52F at the moment, but the prediction is for up to a foot of snow and in the upper 20's tomorrow for Denver...the clouds are already closing in on us...I'm hoping it's only going to be a couple of inches.

Rain this morning around sunrise (only 5mm), but it wet everything enough that the warmth is now very close. It's bean clear, but the radar tells me there's another small shower on the way. 'Bout time we had some rain. Hopefully it'll start hitting its summer-storm-stride soon.

Still...warm.
