Thank you. Yes, after 24+ hours of travel I came home yesterday. A bit wobbly from time-shifting as well -5 hours and again -1 hour, so no alcool for me.

Life goes on...... done my washing, cleaned my suitcase, work this week. I have some 1600 photo's to sort........

Well, that's just sad. Especially in view of the fact that others have posted in this thread when they were just having water.

In my cup right now is the skin of a grapefruit. The grapefruit used to be there, but it's gone now.

Home sweet home....
I unpacked the oilpainting (100x50 cm) of the Registan Square I bought in Samarkand (Uzbekistan). It was a bit of a risk; took it off the frame and rolled it -picture facing outwards-with a piece of cloth- around two plastic water bottles, and then plastic.
It has survived the subsequent car-train-bus journeys. Now I'll figure out how to try to mount and stretch the canvas on a new frame.

in my cup: hot Ceylon tea in a thermos mug (bought in China, where every one walks around with a mobile phone and a thermos mug filled with green tea).

What a great idea on how to transport your painting. The canvas on it looks very soft; Does it still feel like cloth?

Fresh coffee in my cup and a biscotti on my plate.

Around the painting it feels like canvas, sturdy cloth, but the painted part is thicker and rigid.

Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend this morning, along with my fresh squeezed orange juice. But now, time for a more relaxing afternoon tea -- I think some Okayti Estate First Flush Darjeeling. A perfect afternoon tea to sit and relax with.
