THANK YOU SO MUCH DNSB for sharing the image to me. My kobo clara hd is now perfectly working I think the sd card had corrupt system files so flashing fresh image is good to me.

All I did was
•remove the sd card
•plug into the windows pc
•format and delete all the partitions using sd card fomatter (Removes all books,accounts and settings)
•flash the .img file using balena itcher
•re-insert sd card and boom perfectly working.
•lastly plug in kobo in pc and bypass the activation (kindly search in youtube on how to)

Which flavour of Kobo Aura? There are several to choose from. Please note that the N867 Aura H2O Edition 2 and the N709 Aura One do not have removable internal storage so no image is available and the N514 Aura does not have an image but you can try booting from an µSD card in it's external slot with the N250 Aura H2O image.

Kobo N867 Aura H2O Edition 2 - no image

Kobo N514 Aura - booting from an N250 Aura H2O image in the external slot

i have it connected to pc but nothing is showing up on pc, wireless isn't working either just goes back to screen
