Having just seen the cup my colleague got (about 3 hours after mine), I think I'll be doing the same - it looked more like dishwater than tea! He took a sip and went an interesting shade of green.

We're now talking about buying a mini fridge for our department (we have staff fridges, but things like milk, spread etc go missing from them far too regularly)

I have an electric kettle that I carry around with me on my projects, but I don't need it at my current workplace: there is a hot water dispenser, yay! All I need is a stash of teabags.

Oh, and we have a Nespresso machine too. Pretty good set-up

I just bought my first electric kettle.

It's not really that common to have one here in the U.S., although they are gaining in popularity. I keep finding excuses for another cup of tea so I can use it!

I believe it's the single kitchen appliance I use most (well, except for the refrigerator since it's alway on). I love it!

I have one for home and one I bring at the office when they don't have one.

I too have one at work - just to heat up water for tea! [Everyone at work drinks coffee!]

I doubt my mobile phone even counts as a phone anymore - all it does is make and receive calls and text messages. I feel so ashamed.

I realized yesterday that I changed my phone because the battery was getting a little weak, I needed to recharge every few days. Now I have a brand new smartphone that I need to recharge almost every other day.

I feel with you. My battery lasts a work day then it's home to charge.
