Fair enough. The hero would have actually survived against all odds. But since you choose to be the coward, you'll end up dying in an ironic twist to show the audience how dire the situation is.

Good news guys! I found the wire - turns out chickens are color blind - so I didn't cut the red wire. I cut the green wire - which only activated the rodent trapping mechanism.

Anyone seen that annoying mouse lately? There's a little surprise waiting here for him.

I'm just back from an an excellent lunch at Milliways. And I looked up the full details of that trap while I was there, so I've now re-configured it for ferrets only.

Sorry, but the trap is hardwired for rodents. Ferrets are carnivorans.

Also it has an anti tampering mechanism that automatically resets the targeting system after thirty seconds.

I had anticipated that.

After depositing my 1p in a savings account to pay for my lunch at Milliways, I also deposited another 1p to pay for someone to travel back to amend the paperwork on the trap. It was never a rodent trap at all...
