I know I haven't introduced myself yet but I'm in a desperate situation. Could someone please send me the file image for Kobo Glo HD. I flashed the firmware for another device and now it just gives me a blank page and a steady red led. Thank you very much in advance

Hello,
I formatted the SD card of my Kobo Glo HD by mistake.
Would you send me an SDcard image ?
Should I reformat my sd card in a particular format (fat32, etc.) before adding the new SDcard Image? Do I need a specific program to copy the SD card image ?

The image is an image of the card. You write it to the card replacing everything, including the partitions and file systems on the card. See Memory Upgrade Mod Guide for some ideas on doing it.

Glo HD Frozen with red led on
Hello guys,

I think i bricked my brand new Glo HD. the screen is stuck in the "connected to usb and charging" logo. When i turn it on or off, nothing happens except for the red LED that goes off (screen keeps on showing "connected to usb") Can the sd card image method bring some life back to my reader?

@Lichking48: You need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. You can try posting in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819 to ask it to be enabled, or contact a moderator.

But...

A "brand-new Glo HD"? These haven't been on the market for at least three years. Is this new to you?

And before anything else, try a factory reset following the instructions the last set of instructions on https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kob..._Reset:_Glo_HD.
