I've updated to 5.9.4. It appeared blank when opening KUAL. Please help!

I think you will have to reboot your device to exit that kual you launched.

Amazon on several of the recent updates has 'obfuscated' the java classes used for 'booklets'

The short version of that is applets and booklets won't work anymore.

There were some people looking at a replacemnt, but this is one of the reasons knc1 started the 'collection of runme scripts' threads.

I'm a newbie. Sorry if bothering you. I just want to find a solution for page turner for reading. Maybe many readers want it too.

Look up the discussion thread for KindleLazy -
Read what models and firmwares it works on -
Use one of those combinations.

If you want to experiment with other combinations, keep that discussion in the KindleLazy thread, where the next lurker that wants a page turner can find it.

This thread is about jail breaking the new Oasis model, nothing else.

I try to install the KUAL, it could works in version before 5.9.2,
When in 5.9.2, it just make screen all blank instead the status bar and I can do nothing but force it restarted.

His last comment here (before he went back to school) was that KOreader would require a lot of work due to display changes.

That looks like he is working on it.

He has not announced any "fixed" version.

coplate has a KUALbooklet.jar file being tested that seems to fix the KUAL problems on the newer firmware versions, and on the KOA2.
Not yet (as of yesterday) package as a "release" but so far all test results are good.

KPVbooklet has received mentions recently, but I am not sure if anyone is addressing its problems.
(Since the uninstall_*.bin requires "delete" on the sqlite3 database, and the sqlite3 installed does not do that (the installed tools (Lua) might), people may be waiting for me to finish the add-in sqlite3 which CAN "delete" from locale collated database tables).

I am having my own long tail of troubles, not of public interest, on that project.
(Which is also required by the new "bridge" code.)
