After solving the sorting issue while using cbz files I'm very pleased with my H2O.
- Quick wake up
- Quick paging also when using cbz files with >6000 pages
- The 7'' displays works perfectly for comics / mangas, which is the main purpose for me.
- No bugs or crash until now

For those of you who have H2O, how black is black? Because on my PW1 black is actually very dark grey. I only had a brief glimpse at H2O in a crowded shop so I cannot tell. I'd be grateful if you could give some comparison (PW1 or PW2) Many thanks!

With Kobo you can darken the fonts by making them thicker, plus you can load your own fonts very easily, no hacks are required. I don't have the H20 but I did get to play with one for a while and I found the blacks okay.

According to a (really good) review (in German, sorry), the black on the H2O is as good/bad as the black on the Paperwhite. But due to the 5-7% brighter backgound, the H2O has a better contrast ratio (6.5:1 vs. 6.1:1 without light and 10.0:1 vs. 9.0:1 with full light).

Are you saying that the carta screen on the H2O has better contrast than the carta screen on the PW2?

Everything seems ok with my kobo aura h2o, very white screen even better than k4, whiter with light off.

And great light, very pleased read with him in dark room, even nicer than pw2 light.

Amazon returns, replacements, and refunds are awesome. I had to return a Fire HDX after that tablet first came out and they took care of everything.

i'm so sorry

I ordered a Kobo Glo tonight, it should be delivered on Saturday, I decided that it was cheaper, £80 compared to £140, and I could get a nice cheap case, plus it sounds like Kobo are phazing it out so I wanted to get one before they go.

I'm leaving the H20 until at least next year.

There's no such thing as a dead pixel on an e-ink device. Are you seeing dark spots or bright spots?
