Today, while working with the crew on power washing the house, I told them about "mozzling."

They were talking about how hard it is for them when they don't know a word in English (since they pretty much just speak Spanish). So, I told them, just to mozzle something. They went ... "que?" And I said ... just make your own word up. They said (I'm paraphrasing and translating here), "we can do that?"
And I said "hell, yes you can!! That's the nice thing about English ... even the people who speak it from birth can't tell if you've made up a word or not!!"

We decided that the mixture of dog hair, dirt and dead insects that get washed out of a kennel after several years is "pelocrap."

No .... we were specifically discussing the hair portion of the dogs at the time. And I would never let dog crap build up in the kennel. Hair? Well, with these two, it's a bit hard to keep the hair from building up. As it is, I have to have them professionally groomed every few weeks, no matter what the season.

We just clipped our two, with "summer clips" (ie. they pretty much lose their bears and furnishings as well), and, naturally the winter high pressure system came across and sat on top of us for the last couple of weeks, dropping the temperature to 20C or sub20C maximum for a few days, and for 10C or sub-10C minimum (Hey! For us, that's cold, okay? ). I'll be glad when winter's gone, if only because I don't have to deal with the extraordinary physics that allows a single, curled-up dog to make the entire, king-sized bed uninhabitable for even a single adult, yet alone two.

Cheers,
Marc

20 cats. Won't they eat each other if you stop feeding them? I think you should let them reach a natural population balance. Then again, I don't understand anything about cats. It would not surprise me if they are in fact the former rulers of this planet, or remnants of an invasion force, and enough time has gone by that only a few humans, such as myself, have a race memory of antagonism toward cats. The rest of you have been subverted.

That has to be it, because it casts me as the normal person. Yeah.
