Yes I do it all the time. It will come out of the AGC first then charge your card if there isn't enough to cover it but you need a CC to pre-order.

The fourth book in the read team from Elaine Levine is suposed to be out this month, but in the author page it doesn't say wich day, hope the contest codes are still good when it finally releases.
I read the complete series a few months ago and have being (un)patiently waiting for the next one.
She also released a novella recently.

I read the first book awhile back. It was good, but romantic suspense is not one of my preferred genres so I never picked up any of the later books. If you do like romantic suspense, though, this box set looks like a good deal.

Kristan Higgins can be rather hit or miss for me and I'm not a fan of 1st person novels normally but I loved Just One of the Guys (it's not discounted, I got it from OverDrive). Just finished it. Big LOTR fan here and her references to Aragorn, Legolas had me laughing out loud. I'm thinking the long time friends to lovers (well back to friends again for a long time) helped, too. This book was a mention in a recent DBSA podcast.

Anyhoo, one of the real reasons I'm posting is to ask if anyone besides me has updated to today's Calibre download (Release: 1.45 [18 Jul, 2014])?

Just started playing around with the Edit Book feature, too. Sigil and I never became bffs but Edit Book seems much more 'WYSIWYG"y to me. Very user friendly!

that's a shame, I will try to wait for the next contest, not sure if I will resist but I'll try, if not can use perkopolis . I'm so spoiled with the good codes that anything above 50% makes me think twice before buying in the moment.

I like Kristan Higgins too, my favorite is her first "Catch of Day". There's usually some humor and always at least one dog.

I got along fine with Sigil but the Edit Book feature and been steadily evolving over the past few months. It's become my go to editor.
