Taking a break is a good idea if you feel the need. I hope you will be plesantly surprised by book 3. It ended up being one of my favorites.

For those that read Carla Neggers' Sharpe & Donovan series, her novella Rock Point (to be released July 1) will be free July 1st - August 31st. I just checked and Kobo and Amazon still have it listed for $1.99 as pre-order, so I'm not posting links.

I hope so too. I just discovered Calibre now has virtually libraries.
This is awesome! I'm organizing my TBR list by categories. Historical, Modern and Paranormal. Hopefully something will look good enough to read.

I finally found the book I am going to read. Would you know I had to buy it. That's okay I have bought her other books as they came out this one slipped by me.

A premium subscription to FictionDB can be dangerous thing because you can search through blurbs. So if I put Bounty Hunter or in this case Storm Chaser in the advance search field it shows all books with that word in its blurb. I can also narrow the search down by genre, time period....etc Best $20 I spent. I find way too many books I want to read this way.

I ran across these in an Amazon forum today... unfortunately I was a couple days late so they are no longer free or .99. They're 3.99 now, but I know we have rockstar fans and biker fans out there, so why not combine them You can add them to your wishlists if the 3.99 is a bit out of the comfort zone

I got Phoenix Rockstar when it was free, and I skimmed a bit of it a few months ago, all I remember was it was graphic, and something happened in the book [I don't remember what exactly but it was violent], and I just remember thinking, nope, no thank you, marked it DNF and took it off my TBR list. Take from that what you will.
Oh I just checked, I had 2 more freebies from her and took them both out of my TBR pile, she must have really not impressed me.

Generally rockstar books aren't my thing, so it sounds like I don't even want to try these. Thanks for the info

Hey, I'm on there quite often, but have never picked up the the premium subscription. It looks like it might be to my advantage to upgrade. Thanks for the heads up.

I believe you will really enjoy Caressed by Ice. I know at first glance it doesn't seem like Judd and Brenna's book will be any good. But he make a compelling hero, his angst between maintaining his Silence or loving Brenna I found very moving.

I truly believe you will enjoy their story.

I third the recommendation for Caressed by Ice. You wouldn't think it would be that good, but it did end up being one of my favorites.

However, too much of a good thing is still too much. You can only have so many mental bonbons (aka romance novels) of one flavor at a time. So a break may be a good thing! I certainly didn't read them all at once.
