Try sending them your email again. Maybe it got lost, tagged as spam...
I also heard nothing from them for a long time. I sent them an email first about a week ago, then waited and waited, all the while reading here how everyone else get an html copy. Finally I gave up and sent them the request again late on sunday, feeling a bit like a spammer myself. And within close to 24hrs I got a reply with the ebook attached . (very nicely formatted, as well. As others here have remarked)

There's something in there that html2lrf (v0.4.38) doesn't like very much, but unpacking the zip & loading it into BookDesigner instead was straightforward enough.

One of the best ways then to discuss Charles Wilson would be to review the eBook we just received and start another review thread. But as the thread was going, it looked like it was going to be another thread on a Tor eBook and not specifically on the author.

Tor.com free ebooks
I had read somewhere on this forum a few days ago about the "free ebook every week" promotion at www.tor.com , and I am very thankful for that! I was able to get on the list just in time to get John Scalzi's "Old Man's War". A great read!

But I noticed one curious thing about this promotion. I wanted to get Scalzi's next book in the trilogy "The Ghost Brigades", and they have it at Tor, but it is not available as an eBook?

It looks like most, if not all, their offerings are physical books.

Why would they promote with an eBook, and then not sell the other books as digital books? Makes no sense to me.

From what others have said, Tor is possibly in a deal for eBook with BAEN. I don't know the specifics yet. But this i a very good first step for Tor as far as eBooks go.
