And the same here. The cameraresults and the annoying closing of the browsers, including Opera mini, Dolphin and Dolphin HD are the main problems with Ermine. There are also issues with the keyboard. As a matter of fact: it looks like all the problems we had a year ago. Hopefully the people that solved it back then are still working at Entourage. So guys, reread your notes and give us a nice update.

so should I upgrade to this beta version or should I wait for the official version. Of course I'm that an optimist to expect there will be an official version.

Am I missing something? I'm getting an update notification but when I try to update it says I'm running the latest software! I'm not! What's going on?

I had this beforee the update in low light situations. Once in a series of photos someones flash went off and I had a non green photo.

Try clearing the notifications and see if it persists.

I tried it with bright light on but no luck, it made me wonder that wasn't even about the light because the image seemed fine on the LCD screen, but once I tried to take a picture, like I said, it turned green as if there was a green filter on

Did you request the beta update in your account?

When I first received my PE, I had the same problem. Come to find out that in order to protect the lens the factory had placed a small piece of clear plastic over the camera lens. The plastic was the same size as the lens. OOPS!!!

Since updating to 2.2, I am unable to run a local backup to either SD or USB. I get the error "Error: /fridge/.edge/.esi-data/.databases/recent-files (Permission denied) Please try again later." (which doesn't help). This worked fine prior to the Ermine update. Anyone else? I've got a ton of apps installed and if nobody else is seeing this the long troubleshooting uninstall/test/reinstall process will have to go on my to-do list...

For those of you having hibernation issues, I found a setting under Application Settings/Development for "Stay awake" while plugged in. I turned it on but haven't really tested if it works or not.

I am only able to highlight one passage per page on the e-ink screen. I can highlight one word or a phrase but once I lift my stylus and try to highlight another passage the original passage is un-highlighted. Entourage support said they are aware of this but wanted it posted in the forum.

I've generally experienced only two problems so far: The browser crashes are very annoying, and my Borders app no longer works. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it twice, but no dice.

Addendum: Anyone notice that the selection of homescreen widgets has been downsized?

Hi all. . . I'm new to forums (fora?) in general, not just this one. I apologise for the double-post, but I think I put the first one in the wrong place. Sorry.

I've been reading since before purchasing my PE a few months ago, but this is my first post. I figured I owed it to all y'all to chime in with my Ermine results:

Positive:
No trouble downloading/installing
Have noticed speedier response/load times (as have others)
Increased app compatibility

Negative:

-Dissappointment:
As others have said, I too cannot move my apps to SD. Something I was really hoping to be able to do.

-Minor glitches:
My Angry Birds Rio menu has color-shifted very far to the blue end of the spectrum (although thet game itself remains normal)
All of my old 'calendars' are gone, and I can't add them back. Only the first default calendar is present.

-Major glitches:
After a failed attempt to use my bluetooth headset for audio (still haven't determined reason for failure . . . may be headset, may be Ermine), I cannot get any audio back out of my PE speakers. Audio still transmits through the headphone jack, but not the main speakers (except a very, very faint sound when both system and media volume are set to max), even after unpairing headset, playing with the volume settings, resetting the device, restarting it, etc., etc.
