Tried out the new justification test. Works well, unfortunately an inordinate number of my epubs are unjustified Really wish the publishers would put a little more effort in ebook formatting... |

@Idolse - yes, I must admit I was surprised with the number of my books that I had marked as "done" in my cleanup of them that I had slipped up and missed the justification on. Oops Obviously there must be "ragged edge" fans out there for publishers to do this, I detest it personally and much prefer justified text. |

There you go, they are doing it for chaley... everyone blame him Personally I like my books to look like they are printed in paperback - no ragged edges, no giant spacing between paragraphs etc. But to each their own. |

I wish EPUB reader devices supported kerning. That way some of those huge gaps could be balanced out. in lieu of that a 'smart hyphenation that only kicked in when the gap exceeded x% (I dislike breaking words at the line end, with hyphens) |

Wow, didn't realize there were so many ragged right fans. Makes sense based on Kovid's point about larger font sizes, but I'll stick with my personal preference for justified text. I feel similarly to Kiwidude about keeping things similar to printed books - but I guess this indicates Quality Check may need the opposite check for everyone else. Agree that things like kerning and smart hyphenation would also help a lot for either scenario, that's more a software/epub spec problem, another I wish would get solved... |

I'm not that fan that I want all books to be non-justified (although, now I think about it....) But I just do not want to change them all into justified. | |

Fantastic plug-in. This needs to be on the first page so newer users are aware of it. |

Kiwidude, Just another question. I hate the svg-covers. Is it possible add a test for epubs containing svg-covers so I can change these covers in normal images? For the epub-editor plugin the counterpart could be to change remove the svg and replace it with an image just rewrite the: <svg.... <image href...</image></svg> to: <img src="..." /> Is it possible to add the test for it in the quality check? |
