I'm thinking about travel.
Just started "Rumpole and the Golden Thread" where he quotes
"For lust of knowing what should not be known
We take the Golden Road to Samarkand".
It would be nice, I could fly to Beijing, train to Urmqi then to Almaty then... who knows from there.
I'm 62, not a lot of adventures left in me...

Trying out my new Wacom tablet now. Nothing much about it that I like at the moment. I'm going to have to reorganize my whole physical desktop around it for no good reason. I don't even like the feel of the pen, it grates on the tablet surface. Yuck.

Hey folks - I've been a bit absent for the last 36hrs, sorry about that... didn't sleep much night, at the GP clinic this morning... it's likely nothing to worry about but sometimes when you get random squishy bumps in places it can absolutely freak you out (doesn't help that I'm a hypercondriac/anxiety person already!).

So, next week is going to be the usual array of tests, traveling, scans, traveling, tests... and then waiting 2 weeks for the results :|

On the good news, lulu the kitty cat is getting right in at home, now is turning her nose up at some flavours of food (obviously she feels settled enough to reject food!) and is now still trying to break the ice with Jinx (she wants to play with him).

Oh, and Elita's book sold a couple more copies (print and eBook).
