Eine großartige historische Monographie: Franz Kampers, Kaiser Friedrich II., der Wegbereiter der Renaissance .

Zugleich brauche ich wieder einmal Hilfe: Romain Rollands Buch "La vie de Beethoven" erschien 1918 in einer deutschen Übertragung durch Lisbeth Langnese-Hug. (Titel: Ludwig van Beethoven.) Lebensdaten der Schriftstellerin und Übersetzerin konnte ich bisher nicht finden. Ich vermute, sie steht in Zusammenhang mit dem schweizerischen Musikverlag Hug (Ehefrau von Hans Hermann Langnese-Hug?). Eine Mailanfrage dort blieb leider unbeantwortet. Aber vielleicht findet ja jemand eine andere Spur...?

Ja, aber wenn man den Namen und die Jahreszahl in Verbindung mit Buchausgaben sucht, stößt man nur auf Neuauflagen des Beethoven-Buches. Der Eintrag könnte also auch irreführend sein!

Ich habe noch einen Band 5 gefunden, laut Verlag ist nur das erste Kapitel von Dumas. Dieses Kapitel möchte ich noch hinzufügen. Als eigenen Band!
Dämnächst gibt es auch eine Zusammenfassung aller Bände.
