Age is strange. When I began reading his books, Philip K Dick was way older then I. Now I just reached the age he will never go beyond.

I haven't even begun yet and he was already finished. Sigh.

My mother said I was going on 40 on my birthday. I countered that she was going on 60 (and she was closer to that than I am to 40!). That made her stop
