I've been kind of worried about Slite for a while, but I'm really starting to worry about our Planethead. Wasn't he headed for The Airport when we last heard from him?

Don't know. I just know that Slite hasn't posted in months and months, and Taylor hasn't posted in at least a month, and it's just not right around here without them.

My best friend's favorite mare died yesterday. She had impaled herself on a fence post. Her husband had to shoot the poor thing twice to put her down. She was sobbing so hard when I talked to her... she's almost 1000 miles away and needs a hug so bad!!!

Now my vent and rant.

Just drove the truck, one and a half years old, not a scratch on it, out of the underground parking at our complex, when the automatic door comes crashing down on the roof. Like RM we got hit from above, not by hailstones, but by a big metal garage door.

4 days in the shop. $300.00 deductible, everyone in the complex is pished at *us* because be broke the door and no one can enter or leave until the repair guys get here to fix the dang thing, including I hope, the sensors that are supposed to stop this from happening.

Argghh!! That's not supposed to happen! Ouch. Will the complex reimburse you at all?

Don't know yet. We may be able to get the deductible out of them. More than likely they'll charge us for the repair of the door.

OUCH! They should have to fix the door and perhaps something towards your truck. It's not like you *wanted/planned* to be hit by the door coming down on top of your truck.

Thats so sad. Write her a letter, longhand. It doesn't have to be long.

Let her know how you care. Someone did this for me when I lost a special person, and I still treasure that note to this day.

I´m sorry to hear what happened to you today.

But the door hit you - not vice versa. It´s not your fault. They can´t charge you for the repair, can they
