Just got my flu shot! Waiting to see if it makes me sick. For the last 2 years, I've come down with "flu-like" symptoms after getting a flu shot. Go figure!

You know of course the vaccine is incubated in chicken eggs.

They offered free flu shots here at work yesterday...I declined once more.

I always get them - when they are available. I vividly remember the last time I had a serious case of flu - I missed 2 weeks of work and at one point was lying on the living room floor watching TV - and could understand what the TeleTubbies were saying! [temp was 102 or higher that day]. Don't ever want to be that sick again.

P.S. Are you sure the vaccine's not incubated in Cadbury eggs?

SO true, badgoodDeb! I'll never forget taking a Swedish couple to the National Aerospace museum, thronged with tourists, and our Swedish man said in Swedish, "Look how incredibly ugly that baby is!"

The father of said baby (and I have to admit, it was spectacularly ugly) OF COURSE was Swedish, it's a doom, and trouble ensued. [:-)
