The "bounced" version of Number Of The Beast - will be interesting to read and compare with.

(It was bounced by Ginny, as first reader, as a "step back" and "only competent yard goods", before his carotid bypass surgery (in 1974). After the surgery, he re-wrote it into the current published version.)

But I do think I remember something about better ways to take care of teeth in the near-future, which IMS should be right about now, and I wonder where those better ways are

It's the reverse for me, I've heard of V E Schwab but not of the others

A bit more on topic, The Last Days of New Paris by China Miéville is on sale on amazon.com for $1.99, available at least to the US and Sweden. Speaking of bad advertising, "I have not read it but i really liked some of his other books - DrLimu (author of this post)"

Also, Fairyland by Paul McAuley is on sale for £1.99 on amazon.co.uk and https://play.google.com for £1.99 availible to UK, Sweden, Denmark, Norway.
