Ha! I got a few hours of sleep, then got up to touch up the driveway. After posting here I went back to sleep. My wife had to leave before sunrise to catch a train, and the driveway is treacherous. Good morning cromag.

We have a sloped section in our driveway that can be dangerous when icy. Lots of fun during ice storms or when it rains then freezes over or the snow melts then freezes over...etc.

I'm not looking forward to the potential for flooding when all this snow melts.

It was only 4 miles away, but we got three inches of new snow today (and it's still coming down, lightly) and the plows haven't been out yet, so driving was a challenge. Fortunately, there was no one else on the road -- and we had the restaurant all to ourselves. We had a great time!
