"Legends" edited by Robert Silverberg.

It contains short fantasy novels/novellas by Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, Terry Goodkind, Orson Scott Card, Robert Silverberg, Ursual K. Le Guin, Tad Williams, George R.R. Martin, Ann McCaffrey, Raymond E. Feist, and Robert Jordan. All stories are based on the author most famous series.

Really interesting stories that are not part of the main series (sometimes they take place before the series started). I'm really enjoying it.

Just finished Kevin Hearne's Staked. It was okay, not as interesting as the first coupe of books in the series. I don't read as much anymore as my eyes get tired much easier than they used to. Hence digging out my old Kindle DX.

Currently still reading Phoenix Rising. I'm a bit bogged down in the early part, but that is somewhat expected. Others have warned that it starts slow with lots of characters being introduced. Plus I've just had a plethora of interrupts at work, cutting into my spare time.
It's finally starting to move forward, but I'm still having issues reading. It's not the book, it's just where I'm at this month.

I did manage to finish a re-read of Brothers in Arms, by Lois McMaster Bujold. This re-read was done as an Audible book, read by Grover Gardner, and I'm quite enjoying my pass back through these, especially since Gardner does a superb job reading them.

Another excellent adventure - in London this time.

Next I (re)read On Tuesday the Rabbi Saw Red by Harry Kemelman. Rabbi Small is wonderful.

And then (on my wife's insistence), a physical book: Spark Joy by Marie Kondo. How to discard the possessions you don't like, how to store, use and display the possessions that you do like, and have an enjoyable (& tidy) house. OK, if a bit mystical on occasion.

And currently I'm reading: Dead Man's Folly by Agatha Christie. Published in 1956, it does seem to have a few references to Cluedo in it (which was first produced in 1949).

Dngrswife might have that one... underneath the pile of other organization/cleaning self-help books heaped in the corner.

Finished Written in Fire, the last of the Brilliance Trilogy. Reading another autobio-- I Must Say by--you guessed it--Ed Grimley Martin Short.

A good mystery, which Hercule Poirot works out in the end.

Next up: Séance for a Vampire by Fred Saberhagen. Another Dracula/Sherlock Homes cross-over

I suspect that many of us follow this scheme. After constructing the sixth bookcase for me, hubby declared that was enough for any house. Most shelves are two books deep, and I still have two LARGE stacks (visualize books being used as building cubes in Minecraft) of books. Two because they are in different rooms. Each stack is against a wall, using the wall to support the side of the stack. Each stack is about 10 books long, and about chest height. Spines out, of course, so I can find a book when I'm looking for it.

Which I whooshed through. Nicely done, but the ebook cuts off before the end of the epilogue! Reported to Kobo, but it's a bit annoying to miss the last couple of pages, and yet still have a 'free sample' of another book at the back. (Kobo refused a refund, as I bought it last October!)

Next up: King Kelson's Bride by Katherine Kurtz. Bought back in November 2008 from Fictionwise!
