I just got home from my weekly "immersion" Spanish class. I'm not sure how immersed you can really get with a weekly class, but I'm enjoying it a lot anyway. It also comes with four months of Rosetta Stone, so I'm taking full advantage of that while I've got it.

Here, when they talk about "immersion" they just mean the class is conducted in Spanish, and only Spanish. No English allowed.

Post back your experience with Rosetta Stone.......I've heard great things about it.......

Apparently that's what it means here, too. I didn't know quite what to expect, but it's fun. I had Spanish in high school, and even in college, but that was a long time ago.

The main thing I'm having to fight is my tendency to just "turn off" in panic when the teacher delivers a whole bunch of instructions at one time, and I miss the gist of what she's trying to say. If I can teach myself to stay focused maybe I could pick up on some of the later words, anyway!

Rosetta Stone is pretty awesome. That must be the reason is costs so much. I'm going to enjoy it while I can, though.
