I just finished watching "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" on Netflix (the Swedish version.) Loved it -- I thought the casting was excellent, and although some elements of the book were left out, the parts that they chose to highlight moved the story along briskly. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

(I believe an English language version is being filmed, or maybe has been filmed already, but it would be hard to beat this casting for the two main characters. Noomi Rapace IS Lisbeth.)

I do feel a little lame that I have only three followers though. I supposed I should be doing something to earn more followers somehow, but that just seems like trolling for friends. So that's what I'm doing right now! Ruminating about my lack of people. Because I have nothing I want to say about the body image thing. It's exhausting to think about. And I sure didn't want to touch recluse's comment about his (or someone else's) back end....

I know Dennis and fledchen here have left comments on my blog, and occasionally someone from one of my Yahoo groups will leave one, so I'm like you, I know that someone at least occasionally reads it!

LOL!! Aww, thank you Recluse, that's sweet to say. A blog is short for "weblog" ...sort of an online diary, except (hopefully) fit for public consumption. Mine has to do with books, funny things our cats do, and general stuff and nonsense.

I wish I could access that on my Kindle. It sounds like something I would like to read.

I keep a journal like that myself.
Just things that I find interesting.
Stray thoughts, story ideas.
Lots of stuff going on out there that I'm missing out on.

I was watching the end of it when you posted this. I believe we watched the same version. Under the languages menu, they give you an option for Swedish, English dubbed and/or English subtitles. As someone who can read lips, it was unnerving to watch it dubbed in English.

I'm not sure if Mikael was the "perfect" actor for his part, but you're right, Noomi Rapace IS Lisbeth!

Just finished another day of achieving very little.

I got two customer orders shipped out but I've got a backlog that'll take some serious hours of literal head-down work to churn through... probably about 24hrs total needed

Now I need to go and make a cup of rooibos tea, then go fire up the whipper-snipper/weed-whacker and clean up the yard some more.
