hmmm...that seems strange...when did you get that status MikeB?
If the others in that range haven't received their "Paid not shipped" yet, then something is (once again) a bit confused at iRex...:-)

This might have something to do with MikeB being a European invitee and Firekat being a US invitee.

Hold on why am I defending them (again)?!?

I got an advisory e-mail this afternoon. I think a key question is how the electrical charging cable is configured for the different markets (e.g. 2-pin Continental, 3 pin UK, 2 pin bayonet US)?

I would imagine that a multi-adaptor system is supplied for the user to fit the appropriate plug, but if not it might explain the different treatment of countries.

Pure speculation, but no doubt someone will put me right!

Actually I asked this very question for in the "questions for new iliad owners" thread :-) as the accessories section of the irexshop website shows a charger with multiple types of plugs, but _not_ a UK one.

The commander has kindly agreed to answer when it arrives.

I'm order #511, and nothing has changed. No word from UPS, no PDF manual sent by iRex, nada. *frustrating*

I forgot to mention...in an email they sent me, they said:

"At the current pace of dealing with orders, most likely next week.
You will be informed as soon as shipment begins."
