Can you add spacing options for the header and footer?

I'm never sure where to find a setting... but I have the same issue with stock Kobo, and I think I did as well with Kindle, so... yeah, it's a me (and you) problem.

Landscape mode works perfectly on my Clara BW. So happy with that.

I find the settings in Kobalt more intuitive than Kindle, Kobo and Koreader. An eventual Kobalt for Kindle would be the one thing that would make me consider jailbreaking my Oasis (though I suspect that's completely different territory, and I'm not holding my breath.)

Well... I made sure to build Kobalt with cross-platform constraints in mind. That'd make it super easy to port to other platforms. While it can integrate with platform features (keyboard, library, etc.) it also has its own standalone components, if needed. So if your device can run Qt, it can probably run Kobalt.

That is fantastic news! I'll start looking into it, but that's all until Kobalt is further along and I feel more confident in my ability. Thank you!

I'm really enjoying reading using Kobalt, especially on my Libra 2. The only problems I've encountered so far is that on the Libra 2, occasionally pressing to look up a definition, it doesn't register. Never happens on the Clara bw, so assume it's a problem with the device.

Have a few books Kobalt won't open. Not sure whether including all KePub books is a work in progress or whether I'll just have to live with it. Which would be too bad because Kobalt spoils me.

Long-pressing is something that's going to be improved in beta 5. It may help with this intermittent issue you're mentioning.

Feel free to DM me one of the books that fails to open and I'll look into it.

Would it be possible make it so we can start highlighting without having to toggle the annotations button? I figured I could leave the annotation toggle on permanently, but then the chapters graph does not display at the bottom (which is how I had set it up).

Great work! This is really appreciated, likewise your fonts and NickelTypeFix.

Besides my Libra 2 I also installed it on the Glo and up to now it also runs there flawlessly and with great performance.

May I suggest that you filter out your KF fonts as Kobalt uses their relaxed variants and it just clutters the interface with duplicates.

Feature request if you can: when highlighting a word, yes, the dictionary opens to its definition. Could you add the search icon somewhere there that will close the dictionary and then show the occurrences of the search term? That would save taps and typing to actually make the search. Thank you for that, and for this wonderful addition to my Kobo.

Hello,
It seems that when the tag H1, H2,... contains
margin: 2em 0;
on the opening page of a chapter the instruction margin is not applied.
If I use instead pa
dding: 2em 0;
the look is better.

Can you do something so that the margin is applied correctly on the opening page of a chapter ?

Thank you

You need to go to "Settings" (the far right icon on the top bar menu), "Styling", and deactivate "Smart Styling"
