I want the Kobo metadata specifically scraped for my Kobo books because only they pull the correct ISBN / bookID. If I use Amazon as the scraper--even though the Publisher Description and such tends to be the same, it will pull down the ASIN instead of the ISBN. And I don't want the ASIN...because I didn't purchase it from Amazon.

Why limit yourself to one source? I use Kobo, Amazon, Smashwords and Baen for metadata plus Apple book covers and Kindle hi-res book covers for additional cover images. I then select the best summary and cover from the returned results.

If you are really serious about where you purchased the ebook, why not create a custom column for where the purchase was made, perhaps adding in another column for price paid and method of payment.

Though as someone who does not bother with tags and genre, I may not be the best person to discuss adding custom columns for additional metadata.
